Alter Egos are something of the norm in the Super Hero world. We see them in all the great Marvel Comics, but it seems to me they have become more common than not in recent years. It used to be you could take a person at face value, trust their word and rely on their reputation. The world has changed however and many people are personality magicians - masters of illusion.
All of that being said -- I am glad our mild mannered Yellow Lab Sampson has a secret super identity. SUPERVACAMUT!!! Where there is a food related mess you will find SUPERVACAMUT returning the world to peace and good order.
